4 To-do's for Naturally Beautiful Skin

All over the world people use different techniques to look beautiful - in urban areas, woman use different commercially produced skin care products and makeup to beautify themselves. But these products are packed with chemicals and using them on regular basis can damage your skin in the long term. Secondly, the better your natural skin condition the better your makeup will look. Incorporate some of these simple, natural ways to make sure your skin is looking beautiful and the best possible base for applying your makeup. 

Drink Plenty of Water

The way plants dry up when it doesn’t get proper nourishment and watering is similar to how our skin gets dry and dull when we don’t drink enough water. To maintain healthy skin you must consider drinking at least 10 glasses of water a day. Water also works as natural cleanser that cleanses your body from inside and flush out toxins from your body and away from your skin leaving it healthier.

You should also try to keep your skin moist with water or wash your face thrice a day to washout all impurities, pollution and bacteria that got attached to your skin.


There are several different exfoliators available in the market but a lot of them are packed with chemicals – you can easily DIY an exfoliator at home (recipe below).

Exfoliation helps to remove dead skin cells and unclog pores. Removing dead skin cells, extra dirt and clogged makeup makes your skin smoother while making it looking brighter and youthful. 

Homemade scrub recipe 
Mix 2tb spoon of sugar with 1tb spoon of coconut oil and apply it once a week or twice a month. 

Beauty Sleep

Your body needs at least 8 hours of sleep every day because when our body is sleep deprived it releases stress hormones that can hurt your skin’s quality. In addition to this increased inflammatory responses due to sleep deprivation breaks collagens and hyaluronic acid which causes skin breakouts or skin sensitivity. 

Bye-Bye Acne

Daily stress, pollution and application of makeup causes damage to our skin. Acne or pimples is a skin condition that every one of us faces at some stage of our life. There are plenty of ointments and creams available in the market to treat breakouts but don’t you think treating acne with natural solution is a better way?

Tea tree oil is the most popular essential oil that is used in different skin care and hair care products. You can use tea tree oil to treat acne as it has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Mix 5 drops of tea tree oil with 1t spoon of coconut or olive oil. Dab the mixture with a cotton swab on the affected area for 3-4 times a day.
